While feeding our freeze dried foods is not unsafe, we do highly recommend rehydrating it when using as a full meal. Rehydrating our freeze-dried diets is important to support proper digestion, nutrient absorption and kidney function. If your pet is not a fan at first, start slow with just a small amount of water at a time and slowly build up to recommended rehydration, that would be ideal.
You might also consider using something extra tasty like goat’s milk or bone broth to rehydrate the freeze-dried food to increase palatability!
