How do I rotate different proteins?Updated 10 days ago

At Smallbatch, we highly encourage "feeding the rainbow"! This means to rotate regularly through multiple, or all, of our protein options for a diet full of variety and different nutrient profiles. This can look different for everyone and we encourage you to determine the best fit for your pet: every meal, every day, every week, etc. 

For sensitive pets or those new to rotational feeding, a short transition period may be needed between different proteins. Over time, most pets get used to changing things up though and transition periods become shorter and shorter or even unnecessary, in many cases.
