How do I transition to your foods?Updated 10 days ago

Introducing new foods can be very pet dependent but the following guidelines work well for most pets: 

25% new food75% old food
50% new food50% old food
75% new food25% old food
100% new food! 

Your transition period can be done over a few meals or even a few weeks depending on your pet's sensitivity to diet changes. Including things like plain pumpkin, bone broth or a probiotic can help support your pet's digestive system through the transition process as well.

We generally recommend starting with our more mild proteins like Chicken and Turkey or Pork and Rabbit for those needing poultry free options. These are lower in fat and generally easier to transition onto. But, of course we recommend rotating proteins as best as you can so feel free to introduce other options once your pet is settled.
