How much bone is used in your recipes?Updated a month ago

Because we use whole cuts, and in some cases whole animals like duck and rabbit, exact ingredient ratios can vary slightly from batch to batch.

On average, our recipes contain:

  • 70–80% muscle meat
  • 10–15% bone
  • 10–15% organ

While our complete diet formulations are inspired by a prey model approach (commonly 80/10/10), they are ultimately designed to meet AAFCO nutrient profiles. This means ingredient ratios may be adjusted as needed in each recipe to ensure balanced levels of essential nutrients and minerals.
