Our recipes are still built on whole-food, non-synthetic ingredients, and that philosophy hasn't changed. Taurine is a specific, deliberate exception, and one that's widely accepted across natural and organic pet food. Even certified organic pet foods are permitted to use synthetic taurine, because it's nutritionally essential and no reliable natural source exists.
