Why do your foods contain organ meats?Updated a month ago

Organ meat is one of the most nutrient-dense components of a raw or fresh diet. Liver in particular is a rich source of Vitamin A, B vitamins (especially B12 and folate), iron, copper, and zinc — nutrients that are harder to deliver at meaningful levels through muscle meat alone.

Other secreting organs like kidney contribute additional micronutrients and are considered "nature's multivitamin" in various raw feeding philosophies. Including organ meat at appropriate levels is what allows us to minimize supplementation in our recipes while still meeting AAFCO nutrient requirements.
