We're updating our feeding guidelines to a calorie-based approach rather than percentage of body weight. Caloric density varies meaningfully across our recipes, with leaner poultry formulas looking quite different from richer beef and lamb diets. Calorie-based guidelines give pet parents a more accurate and adjustable starting point tailored to their pet's needs.

These guidelines reflect our recipes as formulated and reviewed by our PhD nutritionist. That said, every pet is different. Use these as a starting point and adjust based on your pet's weight, activity level, and body condition. If your pet is currently happy, healthy, and at a good weight, there's no need to overhaul what's working. Just use the new guidelines as a reference if you ever need to recalibrate.
